Quick eDPI Calculator

eDPI280
FormulaDPI × Sensitivity

eDPI is most useful for comparing players inside the same game. For cross-game matching, cm/360 is the better physical measure.

How the converter works

The calculator converts your setting by matching the mouse travel needed for one full 360° turn. Different games use different yaw constants, so the same slider number does not mean the same physical sensitivity.

Target sensitivity = source sensitivity × source DPI × source yaw ÷ target DPI ÷ target yaw

cm/360 = (360 × 2.54) ÷ (DPI × sensitivity × yaw)

Supported game constants

GameYaw (degrees per count at sens 1)
Valorant0.07
Counter-Strike 20.022
Apex Legends0.022
Overwatch 20.0066
Team Fortress 20.022

These values are widely used community-measured/engine constants for hip-fire sensitivity. Game updates can change input behavior, so verify one full swipe in a practice range.

Examples

Valorant to CS2

At 800 DPI, Valorant sensitivity 0.35 converts to about CS2 sensitivity 1.114 while keeping the same physical cm/360.

Changing DPI without changing aim feel

If you double your DPI, your in-game sensitivity generally needs to be halved to preserve the same physical turn distance within the same game.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is eDPI?

eDPI is mouse DPI multiplied by in-game sensitivity. It is useful for comparing settings inside the same game.

Is eDPI the same across different games?

No. Games can use different yaw constants, so identical eDPI values can produce different physical rotation speeds. Use cm/360 for cross-game matching.

Does this convert ADS or scoped sensitivity?

No. This calculator is for hip-fire/base mouse sensitivity. ADS, scope multipliers, field of view and zoom behavior can change perceived speed.

Why does Valorant sensitivity look much lower than CS2?

Valorant and CS2 use different yaw values, so their slider numbers are not directly comparable.

What does cm/360 mean?

It is the physical distance your mouse travels to rotate your view by 360 degrees. Matching cm/360 is a practical way to preserve physical aim distance across games.
