Plan several rooms using the same tile. Compare pooled boxes with separate room orders, account for existing stock, and keep repair spares separate from waste.
Enter one room per line: length, width, excluded area, waste percentage. Use square metres, square feet or square centimetres for excluded area to match your room unit. Example: 5, 2, 0, 10. The 10% example allowance is editable; your layout may need more.
How this calculation works
Net area is length × width minus deductions. Each room gets its own waste percentage. Installation tiles are rounded up after pooling; repair spares are then added. Existing stock is deducted before rounding to whole boxes. Separate-room comparison excludes stock and spares.

Are repair spares included in waste?
